A Journey Of Service
My story is rooted in the idea of a fair judicial system and that is something that I will be dedicated too as a judge.

My time as a lawyer
For 33 years, I've practiced criminal defense law in both state and federal courts, building a career defined by preparation, integrity, and an unrelenting commitment to the people I represent. Over three decades, I've handled cases ranging from misdemeanors to serious felonies, gaining a depth of courtroom experience that few attorneys in the region can match.
That experience was formally recognized in 2000, when Ohio Lawyers Weekly named me Attorney of the Year — an honor reflecting not only my skill in the courtroom but my reputation among peers, judges, and clients alike for thorough, principled advocacy.
From Lawyer To Public Servant
After 33 years advocating for individuals inside the criminal justice system, I'm ready to bring that experience to the bench — not as an advocate for one side, but as a fair and impartial arbiter of the law. Standing beside clients on what is often the worst day of their lives has given me a ground-level understanding of how justice actually works, and where it falls short.
Running for judge isn't a departure from the values that have guided my career; it's a natural extension of them. I believe the bench needs judges who understand both sides of the courtroom, and who will apply the law with fairness, consistency, and respect for every person who comes before them.
